What this guarantee covers: No burn, no surface lift or *corrosion*
Work procedure includes blast cleaning using clean virgin blast media, alcohol wash, preheating/drying out masking if required and finally the application of ceramic coating/s.
*Cast iron items.*
In order to offer our two-year guarantee for cast iron products as manifolds, turbo housings etc, we must apply a Titanium/alloy plasma metallization coat. This is an optional add on to the work and there will be a further charge made for this. It will be shown as an option on the quotation. This is charged at a discounted rate of 50% of our standard cost. Furthermore by applying this extra coat is will help in reducing further heat loss and also helps to hide some corrosion damage. The downside is, it will leave a slightly rough textured finish.
Please note Should you choose a colour with lower temperature tolerance that will not be suitable for your vehicle this will void your warranty. We will advise you of this at the time of order.

Warning… these products must have time to cure to perform at it’s best, so please allow five full days before running up to working temperature, failure to do so will void any guarantees.
These callipers were badly pitted by corrosion and required extra time and attention. After a careful blast clean a layer of pure aluminium ark spray applied (metallization) to repair the damage this was cut back leaving a smooth surface and the final ceramic finish not only looks good it will provide long term protection. This product is really taken off. The silver items have had our two coat system internal heat barrier applied that keeps a lot of heat radiation through the system, improves performance according to the manufactures of this product. Long lasting will not discolour or flake off or crack even with rapid cooling. We are so confident that we will guarantee against fading & cracking. However at very high temperatures running red hot it may lose some luster. Applied by our team who have gone through extensive training so to offer you the best finished product possible.

PISTON COAT (Oven Cure)

Semi Gloss Black Ceramic Coating
Black ceramic coating is a semi gloss black ceramic metallic coating applied at Maldon Shot Blasting
Ceramic coatings are perfect for motorcycle exhaust pipes, turbo exhaust and headers, or high performance racing headers. The product is formulated to withstand temperatures up to 870 celsius and can reduce skin temps on pipes up to 35%.
Black ceramic coating prevents rust, corrosion, oxidation, and thermal fatigue which ruin and weaken metal components.
This coating will also help to temperatures in the engine compartment helping prevent heat soak of parts by keeping the heat inside the exhaust pipe. This is the perfect coating for motorcycle owners who want to black out their motorcycle.
It works perfectly for turbo headers and exhaust parts protecting them during thermal cycling which can degrade turbo components over time.
Black ceramic coatings comes highly recommended for higher horsepower applications such as a turbo or supercharger.

Bright Silver Ceramic Coating
Polished aluminium ceramic coating or (also called header coating, jet coat, or hot coat) is our brightest looking finish that we apply for any steel or aluminium substrate that you want to have a shine or show quality look. It is similar in appearance to polished aluminium.
This special formula can withstand temperatures up to 740 Celsius and it won’t turn blue or gold like chrome, titanium, or stainless finishes. It is the perfect high performance coating.
Polished ceramic coating prevents thermal fatigue, rust, corrosion, oxidation, and heat build-up which ruin and weaken metal components. By preventing damaging elements you increase the life of your exhaust components. If you have headers or exhaust components or virtually any metal part we can apply our coating on it. This coating is the perfect high performance, header, or exhaust system ceramic coating.
This coating lowers the engine compartment temperatures helping prevent heat soak of parts and keep heat inside the exhaust pipe. By keeping heat in the pipe you reduce outer skin temperatures. Scavenging of heat efficiently through the pipe will reduce thermal tumbling and can increase performance. A proper flowing exhaust is key to achieving horsepower gains and a good ceramic high performance coating will do this. Of course we are partial to our header coatings and know they will outperform any other polished aluminium ceramic coating on the market.
This coating requires maintenance to keep the polished aluminium finish. It can be cleaned easily with a mild detergent and water. You can also use any non-abrasive aluminium polish to bring out the shine if it ever gets dull. Maintenance should be performed every few months to ensure that the coating lasts and functions properly. This coating works well on headers, exhaust parts, and other parts that need to have a high quality “chrome like” finish that doesn’t experience sustained temperatures over 1300°F. It is NOT recommended for high performance, turbo, or extreme heat applications. This coating can be applied to almost any metal and on both new and used components.
Gold High Heat Ceramic Coating
High Temp ceramic coating comes in a gold finish that offers a custom high quality finish.
High Temp ceramic is a protective coating that was originally designed to extend the wear life of components for gas turbine engines. It is formulated to withstand temperatures up to 1050 Celsius . This coating reduces oxidation, erosion, corrosion, and metal fatigue on components.
By preventing these damaging elements you increase the life of your components many times over.
This coating is ideal for turbo charged, supercharged, and other high performance applications. It also reduces exhaust component temperatures significantly which lower engine compartment temperatures and can create unsafe and damaging conditions. High Temp cermet is used extensively by racers for its performance and functionality in regards to component protection and performance.

Hot Arc Wire aluminiumCoating
Hot wire coating is a wire-arc spray that is formulated for very high temperatures. This rugged coating protects substrates up to 800 Celsius, heat levels encountered in certain racing and Off-road applications. This coating protects against thermal fatigue, rust, corrosion, oxidation, and metal fatigue on components in the harshest conditions. By preventing these damaging elements you increase the life of your parts many times over. This coating is highly recommended for exhaust components seeing high amounts of heat like turbo housings and turbo manifolds.
Although this product will withstand higher temperatures, it’s not as effective coating insulator at lower temperatures. This coating has a semi-rough texture. Furthermore it has the capability of sealing small blow holes.

Insulkote coating. Is a alternative addition to your chrome or stainless motorcycle pipes. This coating is not for aesthetic purposes but to add a superior thermal barrier protection for internal use on exhaust systems or anywhere that you want to reduce heat transfer. It can also be used as a shielding base coat under certain high temperature ceramic applications that are in our stock range.
Insulkote™ was formulated to reduce heat transfer, offer long term protection against metal fatigue, corrosion and deterioration. Insulkote™ also increases performance and horsepower by increasing heat scavenging during the exhaust cycle. When applied to the inner diameter of chrome motorcycle pipes, the bluing and discolouration commonly seen will be a thing of the past. Not only will this coating keep your pipes looking great, it will reduce the radiant heat up to 90%.
Due to the wetting ability and smooth finish of the coating, Insulkote™ increases exhaust gas velocity while being able to withstand temperatures in excess of 1017 Celsius.
